WHAT I'VE BEEN DOING AND WHAT YOU'VE BEEN DOING

i have been doing a lot of thinking and a lot of doing but not much telling.
herein lays a window of telling i'm going to give you a boost up to see through, should you want to.

i'm making a record right now. i'm not at the beginning, i'm nearing the end of the middle.
my own deadline is approaching and i've got friends flanking me, giving everything both
weight and buoyancy at the same.

soon i'll be airborne, heading toward a space away from here that will give these songs undivided attention
until they're calm and realized. i'll be in london for the first time.

at times i feel fearfully stricken by the potential consequences of being completely transparent on this
massive open forum that is the internet. but when you are criticized and confronted with that
criticism, riddled with false information, are you supposed to reciprocate the confrontation or just laugh off
the inaccuracies nobody bothered to clarify? genuine inquiry.

She talks about this in many contexts, but particularly about sharing herself online via her blog. It might resonate...
